Take a slow, deep breath. You are safe right now. This feeling will pass. I am right here with you. Focus on the sound of my voice. Let's take this one step at a time. You have handled tough things before. It is completely okay to feel overwhelmed. Count slowly to ten with me. Drop your shoulders and relax your jaw. We will figure this out together. There is no rush right now. Close your eyes for a moment. You are in control of your breathing. Look around and name three things you see. Give yourself permission to pause. This is just a temporary moment. Let the tension leave your body. You do not have to fix anything today. Everything is going to be alright.
